Privacy Policy
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain the basis on which your personal data is processed and to discuss your basic rights related to SKLAW’s processing of your personal data, including cookies on the sklaw.com.pl.
The administrator of the personal data is Kancelaria Adwokacka Krystyna Siwicka, Główna 48L/12, 05-500 Żabieniec, NIP 1231432929 (“SKLAW” or “Administrator“). In matters related to the processing of personal data, please contact us electronically, via email to: office@sklaw.com.pl.
Pursuant to Article 13 (1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR“) – the Administrator informs that:
- Personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
- providing legal services on the basis of SKLAW’s contracts with clients (legal basis respectively Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR);
- contact via contact form, email or phone call in connection with the provision of legal consultations (legal basis respectively Article 6(1)(a), (b) and (f) of the GDPR);
- negotiating or executing a cooperation agreement (legal basis respectively Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR);
- recruiting individuals interested in working or cooperating with SKLAW (legal basis, respectively, Article 6(1)(a), (c) and (f) of the GDPR).
- Recipients of personal data may only be entities authorized by law or by an entrustment agreement concluded with SKLAW. Data may be transferred by SKLAW to the following categories of recipients:
- SKLAW’s authorized collaborators;
- external service providers (including IT services, entities providing maintenance and security of the sklaw.com.pl website, accounting, tax consulting, and entities conducting postal or courier services);
- other entities and bodies to which SKLAW is obliged to make personal data available on the basis of commonly binding legal regulations (administrative bodies, state services and courts).
In any case, these entities will be obliged to maintain the confidentiality of your personal data and to process it in accordance with data protection regulations.
- In connection with the processing of personal data, you have the right to:
- withdraw your consent at any time where the legal basis for processing is consent (withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal);
- delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”);
- objection to the use of personal data;
- restriction of the processing of personal data;
- access to personal data;
- rectification (correction) of personal data;
- transfer of personal data;
- lodge a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office with its headquarters at Stawki 2 Street, 00-193 Warsaw.
- Duration of SKLAW’s retention of your personal data depends on the purpose for which the data are processed. In case of data processing for the purpose of:
- providing legal services on the basis of agreements concluded by SKLAW with SKLAW’s clients – your personal data will be kept for the duration of the agreement with SKLAW, and thereafter, for the period of the statute of limitations for claims related to the concluded agreement;
- contact in connection with the provision of legal consultations – your personal data will be kept until you revoke your consent to contact SKLAW, and in the case of archiving correspondence – for the period necessary to demonstrate its progress;
- negotiating or executing a cooperation agreement – your personal data will be kept for the duration of the agreement, and thereafter, for the period of the statute of limitations for claims related to the agreement concluded, and for a period of 5 years from the beginning of the year following the fiscal year in which the documentation related to the cooperation agreement was created;
- conducting recruitment – your personal data will be kept until the end of the recruitment process for the selected position or until you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data.
- Your personal data will not be shared outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In the event that your personal data is transferred to third countries (located outside the EU), SKLAW will use appropriate instruments to ensure the security of your personal data.
- SKLAW may use “cookies” to identify your browser when you use this website.
“Cookies” are computer data in the form of short text information stored on a user’s computer, phone, tablet or other device. They can be read by SKLAW and by systems belonging to other entities whose services SKLAW uses. “Cookies” do not allow the collection of any personal or address information about the user, and are not harmful to the end device or its user’s data. “Cookies” usually contain the name of the website from which they come, the time of storage on the end device and a unique number.
